Dueling iPhone Books: Who's First to Print?

The very first iPhone book I uncovered is from a completely unknown writer, Ethan Bodner, who self-published "iPhone the Book" on Lulu.com. It's full color, 76 pages and costs $21. The author describes it as "the story of one of the most anticipated Apple products ever. A collection of stories, reviews, and photos from the people that experienced it."

A website, iPhoneTheBook.com offers more detail on the making of iPhone the Book. The site claims to offer "the first printed story of the iPhone." Judging from posts online the book became available July 25.

Tale of Two iPhone 'Firsts'

On the other hand, a slick news release announces "The iPhone Book - the ultimate guide to the Apple iPhone," written by #1 top-rated technology book author Scott Kelby and renowned gadget guru Terry White. Ironically, the release claims "This amazing new book, the first iPhone book in print..." sounds alot like the one above. Kelby's book, available since August 13, would make it the second iPhone book I uncovered in my research.

Which book is first? Maybe they both are.
