Skype Available on iPhone

iPhone users in free wi-fi hotspot zones may save minutes and reduce costs making global and domestic phone calls using a new service, IM+ for Skype for iPhone. Shape Services provides the web-based interface.

For a limited time IM+ for Skype iPhone version is being offered free of charge to all iPhone users. Log onto http://skypeforiphone.com/ an dcall your friends, family and business associates using the device's Safari web browser.

"Noticing the public interest for Skype on iPhone, we decided to use our mobile IM and mobile Skype experience and develop an application for them," said Igor Berezovsky, Shape's CEO.

IM+ for Skype requires SkypeOut credits for voice communication.
