Published reports indicate a $1 million dollar lawsuit was filed last month against Apple over the iPhone price cut. Dongmei Li, of Queens, N.Y., also named AT&T in the action. AT&T is the exclusive carrier for iPhone service. More details soon.
Apple's Legal Team Opens Revolving Door
Apple recently hired Oracle's top lawyer, Daniel Cooperman, who replaces Donald J. Rosenberg hired November 2006. Larry Ellison, chairman of Oracle and Steve Jobs, Apple CEO are well known friends.
Coincidentally, it appears this is a good time for Apple to shore up its legal team in wake of impending consumer lawsuits over iPhone.
