Apple iPhone Commands Nearly 20 Percent U.S. SmartPhone Marketshare

Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, announced today that iPhone has sold four million units, about 20,000 per day. According to Job, this places Apple's iPhone just behind RIM in the market:
  • RIM = 39.0%
  • Apple = 19.5%
  • Palm = 9.8%
  • Motorola = 7.4%
  • Nokia = 3.1%
  • Other = 21.2%
